emulator -avd <AVD_Name> Make sure you have a compatible Java Development Kit (JDK) installed on your system, as it is required for using the SDK tools.
"The emulator process for AVD Medium_Phone_API_36.0 has terminated.", was what I got when i ran the app. Here are the things I tried to fix this: Re-installing the Emulator Deleting the old Virtual Device and creating a new one Installing an older Android SDK Platform and creating a new Virtual Device
Army Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is open for new user registration! Check it out! Looks like it’s open for up to 3,000 users this month and it’s basically like a really fast virtual GFE computer. 16 There is a simple way to move avd (in windows): open the directory: C:\Users\Username\.android\avd, you will find the directory named with your AVD and a .ini file move the directory to your desirable path, then change the path variable in the .ini file to the new location. start the Android studio, you will find that the AVD can work properly.

I also applied all the possiblee AVD optimizations for Windows 11 and removed all crap (like most of the AppX packages). Still though, don't know if it's the network lag or if it's Microsoft. But W11 AVD feels slow and sluggish. Login times are ok I'd say 20-25 seconds but it just feels long. The entire experience feels a bit sluggish.
TL;DR - can you use AVD on Linux without a Windows VM? So with NETCOM/DISA restricting commercial internet access to Army 365 services, I've been trying to find a reasonable work around to use Microsoft's Remote Desktop client or another RDP/VDI solution from my Linux daily driver. I'm on Zorin, which is basically a re-skin of Ubuntu.
