Improving flexibility requires more than simply holding a static position. You need to build strength in your end range! Once you improve end range strength, you need to use that new range of motion in movement (for me, that’s usually handstands and ring training). Flexibility is currently my favorite thing to work on. Becoming more flexible means becoming stronger in new positions and having more movement possibilities! Hands down the best part about Instagram is connecting with movement lovers all over the world and getting to meet up with them and train! Super fun time yesterday playing with @i_am_briandavis , from hand eye coordination drills to mobility to handstands to locomotion. We were definitely those weird people in a gym where everyone was using machines, bench pressing, and lifting.
